The terms of using Sajda

1 Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Sajda (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the App. If you use the App on behalf of a minor, you confirm you are the parent or legal guardian and accept these Terms on their behalf.

2 License to Use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the rules of the applicable app store.

You may not: copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the App; rent, lease, sell, or sublicense it; remove proprietary notices; or use it in any unlawful manner.

3 Accounts & Security

Core features work without an account. An optional account (via email, Google, or Apple sign-in) lets you sync your progress across devices.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes.
• Notify us immediately at abdullahdarcin01@gmail.com of any unauthorized use or security breach.
• We use industry-standard measures (TLS in transit, managed authentication, and per-user security rules) to help protect your account, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
• You must be at least the minimum age required in your jurisdiction (generally 13) to create an account.

4 Premium Subscriptions

Sajda offers an optional auto-renewing premium subscription that removes advertisements and unlocks premium features. Subscriptions are sold in the following plans:

The exact price, currency, billing period, and any free-trial or introductory terms are displayed in the App on the purchase screen before you confirm, and may vary by region. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through RevenueCat.

5 Billing & Auto-Renewal

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews for the same period unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the then-current price for the plan.
• Manage or cancel anytime in your store account settings — iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions; Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
• Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain premium access until the end of the current paid period.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

6 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and refunds are handled directly by the respective app store under their policies — we cannot process refunds ourselves.

Where required by applicable consumer-protection law (for example, the EU/UK statutory withdrawal right), you may be entitled to a refund directly; contact us at abdullahdarcin01@gmail.com and we will assist in coordinating with the store.

7 Acceptable Use

When using the App, you agree not to:

• Use it for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users' accounts, or the third-party services we use;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the App or its infrastructure;
• Use automated means to scrape or extract content;
• Submit content through the AI assistant that is abusive, hateful, illegal, or that infringes others' rights;
• Misrepresent religious rulings as official scholarly verdicts.

8 Content & Intellectual Property

The App, its design, branding, original text, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. The Holy Qur'an text is sacred scripture in the public domain; audio recitations are streamed from third-party providers (e.g., EveryAyah) and remain the property of their respective reciters and publishers.

Your in-app progress and any content you create remain yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to operate the App's features (such as cloud sync).

9 Religious Content Disclaimer

10 AI Assistant

The optional AI assistant generates responses using a third-party model (Anthropic Claude). AI-generated answers may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not reflect authoritative religious scholarship. Do not rely on them for religious rulings (fatwa), legal, medical, or financial decisions. Prompts you enter are sent to the AI provider for processing as described in our Privacy Policy.

11 Account & Data Deletion

You may also request deletion by emailing abdullahdarcin01@gmail.com from your account email. Cloud data is removed within 30 days; local data is removed when you uninstall the App.

12 Disclaimers of Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculations will be free of inaccuracies. Features that depend on third-party services (audio streaming, sync, AI, ads, billing) may be unavailable from time to time.

13 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim (or, if you paid nothing, a nominal sum). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

14 Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the App in a way that harms other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, the license in Section 2 ends; sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, liability) continue to apply.

15 Changes & Governing Law

We may update these Terms as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
